Egg yolks are known to have high levels of cholesterol. According to AHA, the maximum intake of cholesterol recommended in a day is 300 mg. For people who have been diagnosed with high cholesterol, they need to have a maximum of 200 mg cholesterol daily. Egg yolks usually contain around 213 mg cholesterol. Egg whites are the best choice when consuming eggs because they are high in protein and low in fat, cholesterol and sodium.
Macaroni and Cheese
Macaroni and cheese has high amounts of cholesterol and saturated fats due to the dairy and processed cheese among other ingredients. Additionally, there’s an excessive amount of calories that is not good for those who are trying to maintain a healthy diet. Low fat cheese and skim milk are two alternatives for lowering the levels of unhealthy ingredients in this food.
Ice cream is a favorite for both kids and adults. However, this sweet tasting dessert contains more fat and cholesterol than burgers and glazed doughnuts. You should only eat ice cream in small portions. Additionally, ice cream has a great deal of empty calories that provide no real nutrients for the body.

A serving of lobster is not good for people with high cholesterol or heart problems. Seafood lovers can have it broiled and not fried. Avoid dipping or cooking seafood in butter.
