There are a LOT of workouts out there, the best exercises to lose weight quickly can be confusing because there are a LOT of exercises to choose from if you want to lose weight. It can be overwhelming trying to choose from running, workout DVD’s like p90x or Insanity, the elliptical machine, yoga, kettlebells, weightlifting, zumba, TRX, Crossfit , pilates, interval training , Curves, and more, and more….
You only need to do two things with your exercises to be most effective and lose the most weight
You need to get your heart rate up, and build more muscle. That’s it! There is no need to overcomplicate weight loss and fitness. Unfortunately it’s very easy to overcomplicate weight loss and fitness because we are surrounded by it.
Commercials, infomercials, celebrities, and family and friends all pressure us to lose weight. We’ll spontaneously buy a new workout or diet pill because we think it will FINALLY be the one to help us lose weight, only to gather dust in the fitness and diet pill wasteland at home.
What if there was a simple way to lose weight WITHOUT having to buy the newest fitness craze or diet pill?
There is. There are exercises you can do to help you lose weight quickly. I call these the best exercises to lose weight quickly and form the basis of this website. These exercises do two things: increase your heart rate and build muscle in the most effective manner. And the best part is that they are SIMPLE! No need to complicate your workouts and weight loss.
Here are my favorite exercises to lose weight quickly…
Squats and variations of squats are very effective because they use many muscle groups at once and if performed at a fast pace, become a cardio workout too.
Pushups and variations of pushups are also very effective for the same reason as squats…they use many muscle groups at once, and if performed at a fast pace, become a cardio workout too.
- Pull ups or Rows
If you perform pull ups or rows, you will be using multiple muscle groups and like I said with squats and pushups, if performed at a fast pace, they’ll become a cardio workout too.
- Stairs or increased elevation on the treadmill
Stairs are a great way to lose weight and get some good cardio. Whenever you work against gravity, whether it’s running or walking up stairs or increasing the elevation on a treadmill you are essentially doubling your workout effectiveness.
Why are these best exercises to lose weight quickly?
Because if done at a fast enough pace they become a cardio workout and they also build muscle. I HATE running and in order to incorporate cardio into my workouts I perform these workouts at a fast pace in order to increase my heart rate and get the benefit of strength training too. This simple plan is how I helped Bob lose over 90 lbs., and helped me lose over 20 lbs.
