A woman named Nicole Sedgebeer wasn’t able to catch the last train that will bring her home, and the next train will be leaving the next morning.
What made the situation even worse is the fact that the train station doors are already closed and there’s no dry platform where she could shelter on for the rest of the night.
The 21 year-old girl was about to cry knowing that she won’t be able to get back to Milton Keynesafter a long night in the capital. She also knows that it would really be dangerous for her, especiallythat she had a couple of drinks.
Fortunately, a homeless man offered some help. The homeless man who was identified as Mark, made sure that Nicole will be safe until the next morning. He accompanied her to an all-night cafe to make sure that Nicole had a place to sit before leaving. He then told Nicole that he’ll come backat 5 in the morning.
Nicole wasn’t convinced that the homeless man will come back the next morning, but to hersurprise, the man returned the next morning and even picked a bus to get her.
Nicole asked Mark why he returned and he simply said that it is a father’s duty to get another man’s daughter home safe.
