Fans of hit teleserye ”On The Wings of Love” should brace themselves for a heartbreaking plot twist as the series winds down to its last chapter.

In a teaser released by Dreamscape Entertainment on its Facebook page on Friday, Leah (Nadine Lustre) and Clark (James Reid) are back in San Francisco, where everything started.

However, they seem to be living separate lives, with Leah bumping into Clark, again, in the same spot where they first met.

After their fateful meeting, Leah and Clark were shown sitting on a bench. Clark asked Leah: “Kung mahal ka, babalikan ka? Kung mahal ka niya talaga, iiwan ka ba niya?”

Director Antoinette Jadaone also talked about “the beginning of the end” hours before it was shown.

Successful presentation, attempted kidnapping

Meanwhile, the teleserye’s episode on Friday saw Leah successfully presenting an advertising campaign to their client. It was so successful that the company’s owner personally talked to Leah to tell her that he was touched by the presentation.

He then asked the whole agency to join him in a celebration, with Leah having no choice but to join them despite it being her birthday.

The rest of Leah’s family also went through a rough time after Adrian (Matt Evans) attempted to kidnap his son, Gabby. Good thing, Nanang Rona (Isay Alvarez) was there to save the day.

Tiffany (Bianca Manalo) at first thought that it was her Nanang who kidnapped her son, but Nanang was eventually vindicated after Gabby told the truth.

Tatang Sol (Joel Torre) also expressed his gratitude to Rona.

But Rona said what she did does not even cover all the mistakes she has done.

“Kulang pa ‘yun bilang bayad sa lahat ng pagkukulang ko sa inyo. Sol, kahit ano gagawin ko. Kahit ano, mapatawad mo lang,” Nanang said, to which Tatang replied: “Panahon lang makapagsasabi, Rona. Sa ngayon, nagpapasalamat ako sa ginawa mo.”

Among the scenes to watch out for is Leah’s surprise birthday party, as well as Simon’s kiss on the cheek that will make Clark jealous.
