Mar’s camp offers P100M for AlDub endorsement

he camp of administration standard bearer Mar Roxas has reportedly offered P100 million to the two personalities comprising the phenomenal love team “AlDub” in exchange for their endorsement in the 2016 elections.
Bulgar entertainment columnist Ambet Nabus said that Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza turned down the offer from Roxas’ camp because of their management’s rule that they shouldn’t be involved in any political activities.
Nabus said there’s also a rumor that Vice President Jejomar Binay, one of Roxas’ opponent in the presidential race, offered a nine-figure fee to Richards and Mendoza for their support but was likewise turned down.
“[D]ahil may ‘rule’ para sa AlDub na walag pulitika at mga pulitikong dapat suportahan sa 2016 elections, regrets o declined umano ang mga naturang offers,” the columnist said.
Senator Vicente Sotto III, one of the hosts of Eat Bulaga where AlDub appears, earlier said there were two presidential candidates who approached Richards and Mendoza for their endorsement but he didn’t reveal their identities.
